What is trauma-informed care?

Trauma-informed care is an approach that recognizes the impact of trauma on individuals and focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment during therapy. It seeks to empower clients by understanding their experiences and emphasizing trust, safety, and collaboration.

How do I book a session?

To book an intake session, you can visit the Services section of the website (or click here) where you'll find an online scheduling option for intakes. Simply select your preferred time and date, fill in your details, and confirm your appointment securely. It's that easy!

If you are a returning client, feel free to log into your JaneApp account. Alternatively, you can click the link on the Services page, either Individual Coaching or Couples Coaching, and you will be directed to the appropriate booking page.

What therapies do you offer?

As a mental health coach, I offer a supportive and compassionate space for mothers and women navigating life’s challenges. Whether you’re adjusting to a new country, balancing the demands of parenting, or facing periods of stress, loss, or transition, my approach is grounded in empathy and respect for your unique journey. Together, we’ll focus on building resilience, reconnecting with your inner strengths, and finding practical strategies that help you feel more grounded, supported, and empowered in daily life.

For clients based in Canada, I offer a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy all through a Nervous System Informed lens. My aim is to tailor the therapeutic needs to individual needs, ensuring the most effective support for each client.

How do I know if coaching or therapy with you is right for me?

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or looking for a safe space to process your experiences and gain tools for balance and clarity, then this support may be a good fit.

Do you only work with people who are mothers?

No — while I specialize in maternal mental health, I also support women who are navigating other personal or professional transitions.

What is the difference between therapy and coaching in your practice?

I offer psychotherapy to clients in Canada, where I’m licensed, and coaching to clients internationally. Therapy tends to focus on healing past experiences, while coaching is more present or future-oriented and growth-focused.

How do online sessions work?

Sessions are held via a secure video platform called Jane App. You simply log in from a quiet, private space with good internet. You will be sent a reminder link 30 minutes prior to your session. At the time of your session, click on the link, and I'll let you into our private and secure meeting space.

What can I expect during the first session?

The first session is an opportunity to get to know each other, discuss your concerns, and explore what you’d like to achieve. It’s also a chance to see if we’re the right fit.

Do you give homework or tools to use between sessions?

Yes, if it feels supportive. I often share practical strategies, reflections, or exercises to help you integrate insights between sessions.

What are your fees?

My fees vary depending on whether we’re working together in a therapy or coaching capacity. Please see my Services Page or contact me for details.

For international coaching clients, I also do not work directly with insurance providers.
